New Third Way Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources of North Macedonia

New Third Way (Novi treći put) has officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources of the Republic of North Macedonia. This Memorandum establishes a formal framework for providing independent expert support during the legislative review of North Macedonia's draft Law on Geology and Law on Mining.

The collaboration aims to contribute to the development of modern legislative solutions aligned with European standards through independent technical expertise and international knowledge sharing.

Scope of Cooperation and Expert Team

Under the terms of the agreement, New Third Way will coordinate an international expert team tasked with delivering independent analyses, expert opinions, and policy recommendations based on global standards and comparative legal practices.

The advisory team includes a dedicated expert from the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA), alongside a group of international external specialists in mining, geology, and environmental regulation.
